Accra Hearts of Oak defender Inusah Musah has dedicated the Ghana at 60 Cup won by the club to the fans.
After missing out on the league and FA Cup, the Phobians played out a barren stalemate with Kotoko at the Babayara last Sunday to win the Ghana at 60 Cup match 3-1 on aggregate.
Speaking after the game, Inusah opined that the fans have been brilliant for the team this year and the least they deserve for that support was the Ghana Anniversary Cup.
“We are all happy to give our fans something to smile about in this festive period,” the stalwart defender told accraheartsofoaksc.com
“They have been great for the team throughout the year and even though we missed out on the league and FA Cup, they still stood beside us and carried us over the line.
“You saw the support today from our fans [despite how our season went] and we know each time we play for Hearts that, they are always 100% behind us.
“This cup [Ghana at 60 anniversary cup] that we won is a token for our fans for the way they supported us in 2017 and we dedicate the trophy to them. Hopefully, we will add more trophies in 2018.”
