Ghana's Accra Hearts of Oak registered their first point in the CAF champions league competition after forcing a goalless draw with Orlando Pirates in group B.
Though, the point comes in handy for the Phobians, they still remain bottom of group B without a win.
Pirates who also lost vital ground in the group remain third without a win after three games.
Hearts' goalkeeper Mohamed Sannie proved the hero with several fine stops to deny the home side who have drawn all three of their group matches.
Sanni'es heroics were enough to provide Hearts with their first point after losing the opening two matches but they have yet to score a goal.
His best save came on 56 minutes when he beat away a powerful close-range shot from Pirates' Zambian international Isaac Chansa.
The two sides meet again in a fortnight in Obuasi in their next group match. |
