Hearts releases rates for Enyimba Clash
Date: 2006-07-06
Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, billed to play Enyimba Club of Nigeria in their opening match of the CAF MTN Champions League on July 16 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports stadium have released rates for the match.

According to a statement signed by Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of the Club, Hearts opening encounter in the group of Ex-Champions will attract 100,000 cedis at the VIP, 50,000 cedis at the VIP Wings (A&B), 30,000 cedis for the Centre Line and Popular Stand 20,000 cedis.

The statement said that even though matches between the two sides have always been tough encounters, it believes that the way and manner Hearts disposed off St George and Etoile Sportive Du Sahel in the preliminaries will push them to achieve success over the Nigerians.

It said that Hearts are aware of Enyimba's exploits as winners of the competition in 2003 and 2004 and their away form, but that not withstanding Hearts are surely going to prevail.

Meanwhile the release also announced the names of officials to handle the match.

It said Evehe Divine from Cameroon would handle the match to be assisted on the lines by Endeng Zogo JM and Menkouande Evarist both from Cameroon.

The fourth official will be Ghanaian, Haruna Ayuba with the Match Commissioner being Bruno Didavi from Benin and the Match Coordinator, Magassouba S. of Mali.

The release said the Public Relations Department of the Club will meet all Radio Sports Presenters at the Club's Secretariat on Thursday, July 6 at 10.30 am to discuss mutual ways of publicising the match.
